Sam Lowes tampaknya meraih pole position balapan pembuka musim 2022, Moto2 Qatar, di Sirkuit Lusail. Namun setelah sesi berakhir, putaran terbaiknya dianulir karena track limit.

Alhasil Celestino Vietti dipromosikan ke posisi terdepan di belakang Tony Arbolino. Sementara itu Lowes, yang saat ini berjuang melawan tendonitis di pergelangan tangannya, sekarang akan melengkapi barisan depan di urutan ketiga.

Juara bertahan Moto3 Pedro Acosta akan start dari posisi kesepuluh setelah mengalami kecelakaan...
