Details of how Jack Miller took his first pole position in four years!

I thought I might have missed the window when I first rolled out, because the pitlane was completely wet.

As soon as I rolled out onto the new tarmac it was completely dry. I thought: ‘Wrong decision!’

I came back in, swapped the bike, exited again and knew that I had to push.

The rain calmed down and we were able to push, especially in the last couple of laps.

This pole is awesome.

Quartararo and Espargaro will start on the third row together. Eighth and ninth for the top two in the championship. 

Miller has taken pole position from Bagnaia and Bastianini. 

Bagnaia goes second as Miller is on provisional pole. 

Wow! A stunning lap from Zarco who goes two tenths clear of Bagnaia. 

It's so close at the front of the field as Bagnaia and Bastianini exchange fastest times.

Bastianini goes top!

Very impressive pace from Miller who goes another five tenths quicker than Bezzecchi. 

Miller sends his factory Ducati into provisional pole by almost eight tenths of a second. 

Bezzecchi goes top but Miller is on a cracker...

Quartararo and Bagnaia are still out on wets although dry tyres are the ones to be on. Oliveira who was the first rider to fit slick tyres is quickest. 

It's wet tyres for most of the riders.

Here we go for MotoGP Q2. Who will claim pole at Misano?

That's it with one minute to go. The rain is coming down too hard for any rider to go quicker. 

Marini goes second as the rain intensifies.

Martin currently leads the way from Bezzecchi and Marini.
