Haas are no longer the only American team on the F1 grid. 

Haas in 2026

Toyota have strengthened their ties with Haas ahead of the 2026 season, becoming the American outfit's new F1 title sponsor. 

Like every Haas car in history, the VF-26 will be powered by Ferrari. 

Haas's 2026 challenger will be driven by Esteban Ocon and Ollie Bearman, who enter their second respective seasons with the team. 

The outfit will be looking to build on their eighth place finish in last year's constructors' championship. 

Haas' F1 History

Haas are F1’s newest team on the grid, joining the sport in 2016. From the outset, Haas - unlike the trio of new teams which famously entered in 2010 - scored points on their debut. They built on this foundation in 2017 and 2018, benefitting from Ferrari’s improved power unit.

To date, 2018 remains Haas’ best F1 season, securing fifth in the constructors’ championship. However, the subsequent five seasons were underwhelming, with their reliance on Ferrari not delivering consistent results.

A change in leadership for the 2024 campaign proved to be a turning point as Ayao Komatsu replaced Guenther Steiner as team principal. 

Although Haas narrowly lost out to Alpine in the final constructors’ standings, they consistently led the midfield, with their upgrades making a significant impact throughout the season.

Haas finished P8 in the 2025 standings.
