Sesi Warm-Up Moto2 Spanyol dihentikan karena kecelakaan besar yang dialami Celestino Vietti, di mana motornya merusak air fence Tikungan 7. Parahnya insiden ini menunda sesi MotoGP yang akan digelar berikutnya, sekaligus memindahkan jadwal balapan MotoE Jerez ke penghujung hari.
