TAG Honda unveil 2021 British Superbike livery ahead of testing
Dan Linfoot and TAG Honda showcase the first images of their new CBR1000RR-R bike ahead of the opening pre-season test at Silverstone.
Linfoot joins Honda following a 2020 season that saw him finish tenth for BMW in the Pirelli National Superstock 1000 championship.
The move to Honda also means a return to British Superbike for Linfoot who’s last full season came with Santander Yamaha in 2019.
Linfoot added: "I am really excited to get back on the bike this week, being back in superbike with TAG Honda is a really exciting time for us all, with the support from Honda UK we are all chomping at the bit to get started.
"The bike looks incredible - I have not ridden the new model Fireblade yet, but I am very keen to get started on Wednesday at Silverstone.
"I’d just like to take this chance to thank TAG for such a big effort with this season’s bike, I have a great feeling about this year."
2020 was one of Honda's better BSB seasons of late, as they claimed four wins in total through Glenn and Andrew Irwin.
The 2021 season sees Japanese duo Takumi Takahashi and Ryo Mizuno added at Honda Racing alongside Glenn Irwin, while Linfoot will make up the fourth Honda on the grid.
The first of four pre-season tests begins tomorrow at Silverstone before heading to Snetterton (both behind closed doors). Oulton Park and Donington Park will then conclude the test schedule on May 19 and June 8, before the season opener on June 25-27.
