How Charles Leclerc took pole for the F1 Italian GP

After pens (subject to FIA confirmation) will be: Leclerc, Russell, Norris, Verstappen, Ricciardo, Gasly, Alonso, de Vries, Zhou, Latifi.

Can Verstappen respond to Leclerc?

Leclerc is on a stormer as he goes quickest in sector two.

All 10 cars are now out on track. Here we go!

It's Sainz on provisional pole with a 1m20.584s, 0.186s ahead of Leclerc.

Verstappen, Perez, Russell, Norris, Hamilton, Ricciardo, Gasly and Alonso complete the top 10.

Everyone has now started their first flying lap of Q3.

All 10 cars are now out on track at Monza.

All cars except the two Mercedes drivers are out on track.

Unfortunately, Esteban is knocked out of Q2.

Bottas improves but stays 11th ahead of de Vries and Zhou.

Time for the final runs of Q2.

Tsunoda is the only driver remaining in the pit lane.

In the drop-zone currently: Bottas, de Vries, Zhou, Ricciardo and Tsunoda.

A scrappy lap from Leclerc puts him second, 0.330 off the pace.

Sainz goes quickest with a 1m20.878s, 0.4s ahead of Verstappen. 

It looks like Leclerc has backed off from his lap.

Perez goes quickest with a 1m21.358s but Verstappen is on course to beat that.

Only Tsunoda is in the pit lane for these first runs in Q2.

All cars are now on track except Tsunoda, Alonso, Norris and Ricciardo.
