Sprint qualifying at Interlagos gets underway at 6.30pm UK time.
A dominant session for McLaren in first practice. Their nearest challenger was Hulkenberg in third, 0.6s off.
Hamilton loses control of his Ferrari on his final lap of FP1. No harm done - as he keeps it out of the wall.
Norris ahead of Piastri, Hulkenberg, Alonso, Bortoleto, Russell, Gasly, Sainz, Hadjar and Antonelli.
Norris improves on his final lap to pip Piastri by 0.023s.
Verstappen was a better lap on the softs but backed out of it after a slow middle sector. He's down in 17th currently.
A 1m09.998s for Piastri, which puts him 0.261s ahead of Norris.
Piastri, Norris, Hulkenberg, Sainz, Alonso, Lawson, Hadjar, Bortoleto, Ocon and Russell.
Piastri 0.2s ahead of Norris at the top of the timesheets. Very encouraging for the Australian.
A 1m10.193s for Piastri to go 0.6s ahead of Sainz.
The times are tumbling at Interlagos. Sainz goes fastest on the mediums with a 1m10.820s, less than tenth ahead of Ocon.
On the medium tyres, Stroll slots into second, 0.162s down on Russell's top time.
Tsunoda moves up the order on the softs, slotting into 10th. He's 0.5s off Russell.
Teams are still running on the hard tyre as they complete some higher fuel runs. Expect some soft tyre qualifying simulations at the end of the session.
Verstappen was briefly noted for blocking Russell, but the stewards have confirmed they won't be taking any action.
Russell, Verstappen, Piastri, Sainz, Leclerc, Hamilton, Gasly, Lawson, Antonelli and Norris.
Piastri moves up to third, 0.2s off the pace. A better session for him, given his struggles in the last two rounds.
A slow start to the session for McLaren. Piastri is in eighth at the moment; 10th for Norris.

He improves to a 1m11.188s, 0.4s ahead of Leclerc. Piastri is in third, 0.4s off the pace as well.
Russell currently fastest for Mercedes with a 1m11.542s, 0.2s ahead of Norris. Leclerc, Verstappen and Sainz complete the top five at the moment.
He loses control of his car on the kerb at Turn 4, spinning off and clattering the wall. Fortunately, due to the angle of the crash, he's only got front wing damage.

Piastri is on top of the timesheets with a 1m12.169s, 0.4s ahead of Alonso. Norris, Russell, Bearman, Sainz, Leclerc, Gasly, Stroll and Albon.
All 20 cars are out on track, with Albon setting the pace ahead of Lawson.
