Oscar Piastri can win a fourth F1 grand prix in a row today.

The last McLaren driver to do so was Ayrton Senna.

Senna did it in 1988 and 1991 - and won the F1 title in both of those years.

McLaren's Oscar Piastri will hope he's right. Piastri is starting from pole with Max Verstappen behind him.

Lando Norris is third on the starting grid, and second in the drivers' standings.

He'll want to edge teammate Oscar Piastri today, for the first time in a while.

Jacques Villeneuve wonders if Andrea Kimi Antonelli has been distratced by the attention at his first home F1 grand prix.

"Let's hope when he puts his helmet down, all this goes away, and he can show his proper racecraft."

Williams mechanics have located, and fixed, the leak on Alex Albon's car.

Albon is set to take his place on the starting grid.

But that was a major late worry...

Max Verstappen will be eager to reignite his battle with Oscar Piastri.

But Jacques Villeneuve warns that it's difficult to race wheel-to-wheel at the first chicane.

"The guy on the outside, if they run out of road, they are in the gravel and lose a lot of positions," he claims.

Jack Doohan was controversially demoted by Alpine in favour of Franco Colapinto.

The initial five-race plan for Colapinto was undermined by Alpine's Flavio Briatore insisting he might have more time.

But Colapinto endured a bad qualifying at Imola yesterday. He was then hit with a one-place grid penalty. 

He starts from 16th.

Williams are scrambling to fix a late issue.

It's Alex Albon, due to start from 7th, who is affected.

"They can't find it, let alone fix it," Sky Sports' Ted Kravitz reports.
