Recap race day at the 2025 F1 Spanish Grand Prix

It's race day at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris are separated by just three points at the top of the F1 drivers' championship - and they share the front row of the grid.

With Max Verstappen right behind them, we're set up for an exciting day.

Lewis Hamilton is eyeing his first podium in a grand prix for Ferrari, and he starts the race from fifth.

Verstappen comes into the pit lane. McLaren will have to respond with Norris now.

It's a slow Ferrari stop. 4.9s for Hamilton. Far from ideal in his pursuit of Russell, who's undercut him.

He's now upped his lead over Norris to 5.0s.

Russell is flying on his new soft tyres. He's running just 7.4s behind Leclerc now. The gap was over 10s when they came into the pit lane a few laps to go.
