Verstappen is now going to respond with a pit stop.

Ferrari are calling Leclerc in now for a pit stop. Hopefully there's no issues.

An awful stop for Sainz! 12.7s pit stop which has dropped him well behind Perez now.

Alpine have put Alonso onto the hards - interesting.

Alonso is now up to 11th - overtaking the second AlphaTauri of Tsunoda.

Alonso uses DRS to get past Gasly into Turn 1.

Hamilton is really pressuring Sainz for third but can't get close enough to make a move.

In terms of gaps, Verstappen is 1.2s ahead of Leclerc. Sainz is 0.7s ahead of Hamilton.

Russell has overtaken Norris into Turn 1 for sixth.

Replays show Hamilton touching Sainz into Turn 1 on the opening lap.

Magnussen went wide at Turn 2 before losing control of his car, brushing the barriers.
