Lindsay Lohan replaces Pussycat Doll for Singapore's F1 Rocks
It has been revealed that Hollywood favourite Lindsay Lohan is to step in to take the place of Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger as the host of the inaugural F1 Rocks extravaganza over the weekend of the 2009 Singapore Grand Prix, Formula 1's second-ever night race.
Scherzinger pulled out of the event last week after reportedly splitting up with boyfriend Lewis Hamilton - a situation the McLaren-Mercedes ace has repeatedly denied - and Lohan, star of Disney movies The Parent Trap and Herbie: Fully Loaded, has been confirmed as her fellow American's replacement.

"We got a call...saying Lindsay Lohan was really keen to come to Singapore," Paul Morrison, CEO of British-based events company All The Worlds - the concert promoter behind F1 Rocks - told Channel Asia News.
It is believed that Lohan beat off competition from the likes of pop singer Katy Perry, ex-Spice Girl Victoria 'Posh' Beckham and other former Spice Girls.
F1 Rocks is a three-day concert taking place from Thursday to Saturday featuring Beyonce, The Black-Eyed Peas and No Doubt amongst other high-profile artists. The music will be broadcast live in 140 countries around the world, and should it prove to be a success similar events are planned for future grands prix in 2009 and 2010.
