Schumacher entered for opening WSK Euro Series event
Michael Schumacher is to take his involvement with the factory Tony Kart Racing Team to another level
Michael Schumacher is to compete in the opening round of the WSK Euro Series at La Conca in Italy this week.
Speculation the 44-year-old might return to his karting roots broke last month, and the record breaking multiple F1 world champion has now been listed on the official entry list published by the organisers. He will compete in the KZ1 class with the factory Tony Kart Racing Team. The event at La Conca runs from February 28 to Sunday March 3.
Schumacher retired from F1 for the second time at the end of 2012 after Mercedes swooped to sign Britain's Lewis Hamilton as team-mate to Nico Rosberg for F1 2013.
