F1 2013 standings after British GP
Red Bull Racing's Sebastian Vettel stays top in the F1 2013 Drivers' Championship standings, despite having to retire from the British GP, while in the lead.
Vettel's advantage however, is cut from 36 points to 21, with Fernando Alonso closing up following his third place finish at Silverstone.
Kimi Raikkonen, Lewis Hamilton, Mark Webber and Nico Rosberg remain in positions 3 through to 6. Kimi now has 98 points on the board, 9 more than Hamilton, who is in turn 2 points up on Webber and 7 points up on Rosberg, who of course won round eight.
In the Constructors' Championship, Red Bull Racing sees its lead reduced from 56 points to 48. Mercedes now moves up to second, on 171 points, with Ferrari dropping to third. Lotus and Force India remain fourth and fifth.
