What do you love about your job?

Tristan Timmins:
It's relentless. Aero development is like chasing a moving target.

What do you hate about your job?

TT:
It's too far from the beach!

TT:
BAR's debut race in 1999, which was at home for me in Australia.

What do you love about your job?

Tristan Timmins:
It's relentless. Aero development is like chasing a moving target.

What do you hate about your job?

TT:
It's too far from the beach!

What's your best moment in F1?

TT:
BAR's debut race in 1999, which was at home for me in Australia.

Q:
If you didn't do this, what would you do?

TT:
Rent surfboards and beach umbrellas on a beach in Sydney.

Q:
Do you work over a race weekend? If so, what do you do?

TT:
Yes, roughly six to ten races per year, to analyse data from the car to assist the race engineers in getting the best out of the car aerodynamically.

Q:
What do you do in-between races?

TT:
Catch up on the progress in the wind tunnel and track test the latest aero developments.

Q:
What's the most important thing about your job?

TT:
Ensuring we realise the aerodynamic potential of the car at the circuit.

Q:
How many people do you directly work with?

TT:
Plenty.

Q:
Who do you rely on the most?

TT:
The Aerodynamics dept. - that's where it starts.

Q:
How long have you been doing this?

TT:
Just over five years.

Q:
When will you stop?

TT:
When the start of a GP fails to interest me.
