Ferrari test driver Luca Badoer set the pace again today [Friday], at a very wet and rainy Jerez.

The Italian completed 73 laps in total, his best a 1 minute 25.785 seconds, around eight tenths up on fellow Scuderia driver, Felipe Massa, who was second, while Luciano Burti was third in the other F2003-GA.

The drivers from the Maranello based squad spent the day once again working on tyres and electronics.

Nick Heidfeld meanwhile was fourth for Jordan, while BAR-Honda duo Takuma Sato and Jenson Button were fifth and sixth.

The only other runner on track was Ralph Firman, the Brit completed 48 laps in the Ford powered EJ13, a second slower than Heidfeld.
