Massa gets five-place grid drop for Belgian GP
Felipe Massa has been hit with a five-place grid penalty for the Belgian Grand Prix after failing to slow for double-waved yellow flags during the final Formula 1 practice session at Spa on Saturday.
Massa has endured a difficult weekend so far, failing to complete a single flying lap on Friday after crashing heavily early in FP1, requiring a new chassis.
The Brazilian managed to get in 22 laps through FP3, but was reported to the stewards after failing to slow for yellow flags shown for Daniil Kvyat’s stricken Toro Rosso on the Kemmel Straight.
