Twenty-three year old Scott enjoyed his first taste of F3 and was soon up to speed, despite the wet conditions at the Northamptonshire circuit, afterwards commenting, "The car was a dream to drive and the team were very professional."
Ray Rowen, Rowen Racing's Team Boss, gave his thoughts on the test, "The three test sessions were wet, and we had our National class driver from last season driving a championship car, as a comparison on Aaron's performance. He was able to run at Christian's pace pretty-well throughout the test, and ended the day 3rd quickest over-all out of the six other Formula 3 cars running."
Rowen then commented on the youngsters mature approach, "In my opinion Aaron did a very good job, he made no mistakes and worked well both with the engineer and the data logging."
Scott will be hoping that the test will help him in his quest for a drive in the British Formula Three Scholarship class for 2001.
