Green scores double F3 victory at Donington.
Jamie Green scored a remarkable double victory today at Donington Park today in rounds 1 and 2 of the 2003 British F3 Championship. The young British ace was unstoppable in both races as his Carlin Motorsport team-mate Alan van der Merwe led the chase.
Quantum to continue purple patch in British F3.
Sussex-based Quantum Racing Services is aiming to continue its record of success with its distinctive purple suspension dampers in the 2003 British Formula Three Championship, which starts on Sunday at Donington Park.

Alan van der Merwe underlined the strength of his bid for the championship title by heading the testing times at Donington Park yesterday [Thursday] for the 2003 British F3 Championship with Avon Tyres.
Carlin 1-2-3 in the morning session.
As the morning F3 test session closed for lunch at Rockingham, Carlin's Jamie Green pitted in a hurry with an electrical fire on the car. There was little damage but the team had not had a chance to inspect the cause although the extinguisher had been deployed.
Carlin, Manor set pace in first F3 test.
The British Formula Three Championship press office has confirmed that former champions Carlin and Manor Motorsport headed the unofficial timesheets at the first major test ahead of the 2003 season.
Davison hits testing trail.
Australian Formula Three international Will Davison recently completed four days of rigorous pre-season testing in Spain, as well as two days at Donington Park, in preparation for his assault on the 2003 British F3 Championship with defending champions Alan Docking Racing.

Ralt Engineering has sold a Formula Three 3 car to Piquet Racing following two successful tests in Brazil at the end of last year. Nelsinho Piquet, son of former World Champion Nelson Piquet, covered nearly 2,000 kilometres in the car without encountering any significant problems.
Lola-Dome completes first test.
The Lola-Dome F106 Formula Three challenger undertook a successful first shakedown test at Suzuka during the Christmas break, with Japanese F3 race winner Takashi Kogure beating the existing track record for an F3 car by eight-tenths of a second.

Brazilian single-seater hopeful Ernani Judice has revealed that he will be competing in the next two rounds of the South American [SudAm] Formula Three series, after accepting an invitation from team owner Darcio dos Santos.
Macau gears up for Grand Prix action.
Motorsport fans can look forward to an action-packed 49th Macau Grand Prix this year, with one of the most spectacular racing programmes ever - a feast of high-speed thrills. The Grand Prix will be held on November 16 and 17, with practice and qualifying sessions on November 14 and 15.

Asaro wins season finale for Sweeney Racing.
Canada's Billy Asaro rounded off this season's British F3 Championship as he started it, spraying the champagne celebrating a Scholarship Class victory.

Heikki Kovalainen scored a dramatic victory at Oulton Park in round 19 of the Avon Tyres British F3 Championship on Sunday afternoon.
