ART cans test as Marcel loses fight for life.
Reigning GP2 Series champion ART Grand Prix has shelved plans to join this week's group test at Paul Ricard after hearing that engineer Steeve Marcel had lost his battle with cancer.
The 32-year old had been battling the disease for some time, but had engineered Nico Rosberg to championship honours in the series' inaugural year. Despite his illness, Marcel also managed to attended a number of races in 2006, support his colleagues as hey powered to a second title sweep with Lewis Hamilton.
