Drivers in the Verizon IndyCar Series have continued to give positive feedback for the new-look Indy car for the 2018 season as testing continued at Sebring this week.
INDYCAR will introduce a new, universal aerokit for the 2018 season, with teams previously using the designs given to them by engine suppliers Honda or Chevrolet.
The simplified aerokit has given the Dallara DW12 a dramatic new look that has proven a hit with fans and drivers alike, with many giving their approval during the latest Sebring test.

Andretti Autosport drivers Ryan Hunter-Reay, Zach Veach and Alexander Rossi all sampled the new-style car for the first time in the test, decked out in their full liveries.

"I’m just blown away with the new car," said Veach, who will make his full-season IndyCar debut this year with Andretti.
“The aero kit makes it feel like a proper race car again. Honestly, it’s incredible to look at."
The new Verizon IndyCar Series season starts with the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg on March 11.
