BMW Sauber tester Marko Asmer topped the times on Tuesday as F1 testing began at the Jerez de la Frontera circuit in the extreme south of Spain.

The BMW Sauber F1 team has confirmed that Marko Asmer and Javier Villa will both get a chance to test the team's 2007 car - the F1.07 at Jerez next week.
