Raffaele Marciello claimed his maiden GP2 Series win for Racing Engineering at Spa after overtaking longtime leader Stoffel Vandoorne late in the race.

Jolyon Palmer confirmed his iron grip on proceedings in Singapore by leading an all-Carlin front row for Saturday's GP2 feature race, in the series' only night time session of the weekend.

The GP2 teams are setting up in Spain for their last activity of 2013, a post-season test being held at Jerez on Thursday and Friday.

A Monza Race 1 win and second place in Race 2 brought Daniel Abt agonizingly close to the GP3 title, but Mitch Evans still just edged him thanks to the points he won for pole position, despite failing to score in either race itself.

Daniel Abt survived a shortened Race 1 at Spa-Francorchamps to win for Lotus GP, while MW Arden's Matias Laine was victorious in the more standard Sunday event.
