Denny Hamlin made a comeback from two penalties during the day to take the win in the O’Reilly Auto Parts 500.

A gas-and-go pitstop elevated Denny Hamlin to the win in Stage 2 at Texas. Stage 1 winner Joey Logano brought the field down pit road but lost the lead to Kyle Busch by way of a two-tire pit stop.

A quick pitstop elevated Joey Logano to win Stage 1 of the O’Reilly 500 at Texas Motor Speedway. Johnson blasted away from Hendrick Motorsports teammate William Byron when the green flag dropped as Byron fell into the clutches of teammate Chase Elliott.

Clint Bowyer was not a happy camper after qualifying 25th for Sunday’s O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 at the Texas Motor Speedway.
