Dakar Rally veteran Nani Roma and South African rally raid driver Gareth Woolridge will hand the revised Ford Ranger T1+ its international competitive debut on next weekend’s Baja Spain Aragon.

Improvements to the Ford Ranger T1+ ahead of next year’s Dakar Rally have been “accelerated” with the support of M-Sport and Ford Performance, its creator Neil Woolridge Motorsport (NWM) has said.

American automotive giant Ford will join forces with M-Sport to expand its off-road motorsport programme to include a first works-based assault on the 2024 Dakar Rally.
