After an enthralling night's speedway at Reading's Smallmead Stadium, Euphony Racers duo Danny Bird and Phil Morris won the 2004 BSPA Premier League Pairs, beating Stoke's Paul Pickering and Alan Mogridge in the sudden-death Grand Final.
