Wayne Boyd says he will look to try and secure his second victory of the Cooper Tires British F3 International Series season next weekend in his 'home' round of the season at Silverstone.

Wayne Boyd has dismissed suggestions that his rookie campaign in the Cooper Tires British F3 International Series in 2009 will be a learning year, insisting that the championship is 'too expensive' for that and that he is firmly intent on 'doing the business' first time around.

He may have only competed in ten races in the Cooper Tires British F3 International Series to-date, but Oliver Oakes made enough of an impression on the regular contenders over the second half of 2008 to send out a solid warning for 2009 - when, he acknowledges, there will be 'no excuses'.

Three members of the British F3 'class of 2009' have been added to the intake for this year's MSA British Race Elite, coming through a tough election process as the scheme's judging panel considered over 50 initial applicants.
