Maverick Viñales labelled Sunday’s MotoGP outing at Aragon as “the worst race in my time with Yamaha,” stating the M1’s performance was the least competitive he has known as he slipped and slid to a distant tenth place.

It's official. Yamaha is now experiencing its longest-ever win drought in MotoGP, having gone 23 races since Valentino Rossi's victory at last year's Dutch TT.

And so it goes on. Yamaha’s traction issues showed few signs of dissipating at a roasting hot Aragon, where Maverick Viñales was at a loss to explain the behaviour of his M1 as he struggled to the tenth fastest time.
