The Marc VDS (Esteve Rabat and Mika Kallio) and Aspar (Nico Terol and Jordi Torres) teams are not present, having instead been requested to help Dunlop develop its tyres at Phillip Island last week.

The opening race of the season takes place back at Losail on the evening of March 23.
