Alex Marquez wins the Japanese Moto2 Grand Prix, with Xavi Vierge claiming his first podium in second for Tech 3 and Hafizh Syahrin back on the rostrum in third.

Franco Morbidelli extended his title lead after rival Thomas Luthi appeared to suffer vision issues with his visor.

Wet race, shortened to 15 laps after the earlier oil delay.
