Lorenzo Baldassarri wins as Jorge Navarro's charge falls just short of victory. Augusto Fernandez claims his first podium.

The race distance was reduced from 23 to 15 laps after the initial race was red flag due to a multi-rider accident on the exit of turn one when Remy Gardner highsided on the exit of turn one and Alex Marquez hit his bike.

Gardner and Dimas Ekky Pratama were taken to the Medical Centre, with Marquez starting from pit lane after hasty bike repairs.
