Britain’s Jake Dixon earns historic pole position

Jake Dixon claims his first grand prix pole position during qualifying the Moto2 class at Mandalika, Indonesia, and will be joined on the front row by Augusto Fernandez and Sam Lowes.

Pedro Acosta, who will serve a long lap penalty for falling under yellow flags at turn two yesterday, was among many riders to tumble at the same corner today. Again possibly due to a damp patch at the apex.
