Tatsuki Suzuki defended his place at the top of the Moto3 timesheets during day 2 of Official pre-season testing at Portimao.

The new Leopard rider regained the edge over team-mate and title runner-up Dennis Foggia by just 0.019s on his final lap of day 2, the Italian having been fastest in the previous session as well as leading most of Session 3.

Andrea Migno and Carlos Tatay were best of the rest, with John McPhee fifth despite falling with ten minutes remaining.

Track action takes place from 10am to 6pm from Saturday-Monday, with each class having three 70-minute track sessions per day.
