- MotoGP is weighing up a return to Indianapolis amid uncertainty over the Americas MotoGP at Circuit of the Americas following the coronavirus measures taken in Austin. The city is set to ban major spectator events in response to the coronavirus, with Indianapolis providing a possible alternative venue in the United States. FIM Safety Officer Franco Uncini has confirmed only minor tweaks would be needed to the track which hosted the sport between 2008 and 2015. (GPOne.com)
- The 2020 MotoGP race calendar shake-up caused by the coronavirus could see extensive changes put in place with FIM President Jorge Viegas suggesting going to tracks not on the calendar but not currently hit by the virus such as Portimao or Estoril, or even running two races at the same track on one weekend.
