- Mattia Pasini says he shook hands on a 2020 Moto2 ride at Gresini but the deal fell through which has once again left the Italian without a spot on the grid at the start of this year. Pasini spent 2019 as the substitute specialist in Moto2 filling in for four different teams across the season due to other riders picking up injuries. - Andrea Dovizioso believes the delay to the start of the 2020 MotoGP season could be positive for him if it isn’t too long. This is despite effectively missing out at tracks which traditionally favour the Ducati package in the early parts of the season, while major world title rival Marc Marquez recovers from his shoulder surgery and Honda troubles during pre-season testing.
