Fabio Quartararo's best lap of the day was set on the V4 in the end, though it was only slightly faster than an unrepresentative inline-four time.
Jorge Martin’s Valencia test day was constructive as he discovered more about the Aprilia, though admits he still "feels like a rookie" on the bike.

The busiest rider of the day so far has been Marco Bezzecchi, who has completed 60 laps with 45 minutes to go.

Our man on the ground, Pete McLaren, has spotted an intriguing add-on to the bottom of Nicolo Bulega's Ducati's fairing.

Raul Fernandez is back on top with a 1m29.373s.
Nicolo Bulega is on a good run here on the Ducati and is up to fourth with a 1m29.661s.
A look at both bikes Alex Marquez has been riding today.
Note the additional Ducati engineers in the Gresini garage, as part of Marquez's switch to factory machinery for 2026.
