Alex Marquez may be drawing the ire of the other factory Ducati rider now, as he looks like he may have gotten in Bastianini's way down at Turn 14.
As we dip into the final half an hour of the session, Martin has jumped up to fourth on his Pramac Ducati.

Marquez's lap was done on a 10-lap-old soft rear tyre and is about a second off the lap record at Misano.
I suspect we'll see that record go later on this session.
Marc Marquez shoots to the top of the order with a 1m31.364s, while Bagnaia goes second. Marquez's advantage 0.206s.
We've had some movement at the top of the order. Marc Marquez is second with a 1m31.703s, while Bagnaia has leaped up to third.
A little bit further down the order, Enea Bastianini is currently 11th on his Ducati.
Top Honda at the moment is Johann Zarco for LCR in 17th.
Quartararo looks to have lost more bodywork from his Yamaha, this time from the left side going through Turn 12. He's back in the pits now.

Long way to go in this session yet, but Yamaha's speed still looks good after a strong FP1.

Acosta goes even quicker on his Tech3 GASGAS with a 1m31.672s.
Title rivals Martin and Bagnaia get a bit close into Turn 4. Martin looks to have backed off into the corner and Bagnaia's been forced to back out.
Bagnaia was not too happy with that.
Maverick Vinales a few moments ago jumped off his Aprilia in pitlane and signalled to his team that there may have been an issue at the rear of his bike. He's gone onto his second machine.

It's been a frantic start to the second session. Here's the top 10 after 10 minutes:

Acosta now sets the best lap of the day so far with a 1m31.700s.
Acosta improves to a 1m31.843s to get very close to the best lap of the day so far after just nine minutes of second practice.
Marc Marquez completes a 1m32.302s to go second, but had a bit of a wobble coming out of the last corner.
Acosta now takes over at the top of the timesheets with a 1m32.199s on his Tech3 GASGAS.
That piece of bodywork has now broken off Quartararo's Yamaha has he braked into Turn 8. Though it has left debris on track.
Francesco Bagnaia takes over at the top of the order with a 1m32.523s on his factory Ducati from Pedro Acosta and Quartararo.
Fabio Quartararo looks to have a broken bit of carbon fibre on the right side of his swingarm. Not a major problem, but he may have to box soon to have it removed as it poses a danger to riders around him.
Jorge Martin sets the initial benchmark at 1m33.163s. Best time from FP1 was a 1m31.707s.

The second practice session for the 2024 San Marino GP has been given the green light and the track bursts into life.
Honda's Joan Mir will continue to sit out this afternoon's running.
He has been suffering with gastroenteritis since arriving to Misano.
Conditions remain fantastic for this afternoon's session.
Remember, this will decide the top 10 riders going directly into Q2 qualifying on Saturday morning.
