Disneyland visit for MotoGP riders
Prior to this weekend's Le Mans round, a group of MotoGP riders took part in a promotional visit to Disneyland Paris.
Yamaha's reigning world champion Jorge Lorenzo, Monster Yamaha Tech 3 duo Cal Crutchlow and Bradley Smith, Ducati's Andrea Dovizioso, Power Electronics Aspar pair Randy de Puniet and Aleix Espargaro, as well as Moto2 racer Pol Espargaro made the trip.
The visit began on the Rock n' Roller Coaster, followed by a motorised stunt show, some more rollercoaster action - including the RC Racer in Toy Story Playland, or a free-falling lift in The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror - and concluded with a photoshoot alongside Donald Duck.
"It's been really funny," said Lorenzo. "We've been to the hotel where you go down in the lift very quickly, so it was very exciting - we were also on the rollercoaster.
"It's my first time here in Disneyland Paris - I have always wanted to come, but haven't had the occasion. I've enjoyed this morning a lot. The stunt show was also very impressive - especially the drivers in the cars. There were four or five cars doing impressive things very close to each other.
"It was fun and we learnt something - things you can do on a bike and also in a car."
The French MotoGP at Le Mans gets underway with free practice on Friday.
