Track surface to blame for power loss.
Bizarre story of the week comes from the Brno circuit in the Czech Republic, after teams in last weekend's MotoGP complained of sudden power losses.
It has transpired, according to speedvision.com, that the circuit owners' decision to provide more grip for the riders ultimately led to some of them falling off the pace as steel shot used to blast the surface of the track found its way, fatally, into engines.
Some would describe it as a 'balls-up'.....
