Rio 125cc winner passes drug test.

Six riders, three from each the 125cc and 250cc classes of MotoGP, were selected for drug testing at the Portuguese Grand Prix, held on the circuit of Estoril, on 9th September.

Katja Poensgen (GER: 250cc), Tetsuya Harada (JPN; 250cc), Massimiliano Sabbatani (ITA, 125cc), Daniel Pedrosa (125cc)and Rio Grand Prix winner Youichi Ui (JPN; 125cc) all passed the tests, showing the absence of banned substances in all of their samples.

The third selected rider in the 250cc class, David de Gea (SPA), was not tested in Estoril for administrative reasons. He was therefore tested in Sepang during the Malaysian Grand Prix. His sample also showed the absence of any banned substances.
