As it happened: Virtual Grand Prix of Spain
After holding two previous Virtual Races for the premier-class, today sees the broadcast of the first 'Virtual Grand Prix' featuring a full line-up of MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 races.
The event features selected riders from each class doing battle around the Jerez circuit on the latest MotoGP 2020 Playstation game, on what should have been race day at the real Spanish Grand Prix.
The MotoGP grid consists of 11 riders competing over 13 laps – the equivalent of 50% of race distance – whilst the Moto2 and Moto3 races comprise 10 riders competing over eight laps.

As with a normal grand prix weekend Moto3 will be shown first, followed by Moto2 and MotoGP, with highlights of qualifying broadcast just before the races.
'Rookie' Alex Marquez (Repsol Honda) won the first Virtual MotoGP Race at Mugello, with Francesco Bagnaia (Pramac Ducati) then snatching a last-lap victory over Maverick Vinales (Monster Yamaha) at the Red Bull Ring.
