Dovizioso open to MotoGP return, but 'not at all costs'
Andrea Dovizioso has reiterated that, while he continues to seek a MotoGP return, it would only be with 'projects of a certain type' and not 'at all costs'.
The 15-time MotoGP race winner is currently facing at least a season out of the sport, after splitting from Ducati and having turned down the chance to join Aprilia for 2021.

The 15-time MotoGP race winner is currently facing at least a season out of the sport, after splitting from Ducati and having turned down the chance to join Aprilia for 2021.
"I'm open, but at the moment I'm not looking for a place to return at all costs," Dovizioso told SkySport.it. "I'm only interested in projects of a certain type, so if there is a chance to return to MotoGP in 2021 or 2022, I'll be the first to be happy to talk, otherwise there is no problem."
The only potential project that would seem to fit the bill for Dovi this season is if Repsol Honda continues to need a replacement for injured six-time champion Marc Marquez.
Factory test rider Stefan Bradl again looks first-in-line if Marquez is missing, but Dovizioso's manager recently indicated that the #4 would be ready and willing to take part in the official Qatar test for HRC as a kind of evaluation.
"It depends on what they propose," Dovizioso said, when asked how he would respond to a call from Honda. "There must be a project, a desire to try together.
"If there should be an idea of this type, maybe for 2022, I'll be the first to be happy.
"I'm used to doing things well, so if there is the intention and the desire on the part of both, we can talk about it.
"As I said, I'm not just trying to race in MotoGP, otherwise I could have done it in another way," he added, presumably referring to the Aprilia offer.
