FIRST LOOK: MotoGP riders on track for Sepang Shakedown Test
2022 MotoGP track action got underway at Sepang in Malaysia on Monday morning with the start of the Shakedown test.
The five rookies - Raul Fernandez (Tech3 KTM), Remy Gardner (Tech3 KTM), Fabio di Giannantonio (Gresini Ducati), Marco Bezzecchi (VR46 Ducati) and Darryn Binder (RNF Yamaha) - are eligible to ride over the three days, alongside the factory test riders and concession manufacturer Aprilia.
Four of the five rookies are also making their track debut in full 2022 race livery, with only Bezzecchi still in a black test livery.
Testing at the Shakedown runs from 10am to 6pm each day, followed by practice starts.
The Official Sepang test - for all competitors – will then be held on February 5-6.
