Jerez MotoGP test times - Thursday (4pm)

Lap times at 4pm on Thursday marking the second day of MotoGP riders on track for a private test at Jerez, alongside the leading World Superbike competitors.

The factory Ducati, Suzuki, KTM and Aprilia MotoGP teams are all present, plus satellite teams from Honda and Ducati.

Repsol Honda's reigning world champion Marc Marquez and 2017 Jerez race winner Dani Pedrosa are not on track. However Marc's younger brother Alex is taking part in his first 'real' MotoGP test, as a replacement for injured Marc VDS Honda rookie Thomas Luthi.

Aprilia WorldSBK rider and former MotoGP racer Eugene Laverty is testing in place of Aleix Espargaro at Aprilia.

The factory Yamaha and Tech 3 teams are also absent, having elected to hold their private test at Sepang, prior to the winter test ban on December 1.

Jerez has been resurfaced since the Spanish MotoGP on May 5-7, but before October's WorldSBK round, which saw a double victory by reigning triple world champion Jonathan Rea.

Testing takes place from 10am to 6pm...
