SSTK: Bridewell, Lorenzini part ways
Tommy Bridewell has confirmed he has decided to split with FIM Superstock 1000 team Lorenzini by Leoni Yamaha after a disappointing start to the season.
The British rider signed with the team after a successful test during the off-season, but has so far managed just a single points finish this year, a 13th place in Valencia.

"I'm disappointed it hasn't worked out but for some reason, we've really struggled this year," he said. "I've had some major issues with the handling of the bike which the team has done their best to help with.
"After Monza, we realised that I'm not doing myself or the team any favours by languishing down the order. I'd like to thank the team for the opportunity and wish them continued success in the future."
Bridewell is currently exploring options in Europe and the UK
