Lanzi wins 2005 World Superbike finale.
Lorenzo Lanzi took victory in the final race of the Corona Extra World Superbike championship at Magny Cours. He reeled in Vermeulen and was then gifted the win when Vermeulen was forced to retire, from the lead, when his chain came off on the eighteenth lap.
Vermeulen takes 'home' win at Assen.
Chris Vermeulen pulled out all the stops to win the ninth round of the Alstare Corona Extra World Superbike Championship at Assen in the Netherlands. This is his Winston Ten Kate team's home race and Vermeulen has been determined all weekend to win.

Corser dominates Brno race one.
Nine years ago Troy Corser did the double at Brno and went on the win the World Superbike Championship. He has just won race one of the Alstare Corona Extra World Superbikes on their return to Brno and if history repeats itself he will be on for another double.

Troy Corser took his Alstare Suzuki to its second win of the day at Phillip Island in a rain interrupted second race.

James Toseland has been crowned the 2004 World Superbike champion after finishing second to Noriyuki Haga in the final race of the season, at Magny Cours.

Toseland wins race one of title decider.
James Toseland will take a 5-point lead over Ducati Fila team-mate Regis Laconi into the final race of the 2004 World Superbike season, after winning a tense race one at Magny Cours, just ahead of Noriyuki Haga, with Laconi third.
Laconi claims dramatic Imola double.
Fila Ducati's Regis Laconi won the second race of the World Superbikes from Imola to take his second win of the day. His team-mate James Toseland came across the line just 0.041secs behind the French rider in one of the closest finishes yet this season.
Laconi wins race one, Vermeulen leads.
Fila Ductai's Regis Laconi took the first race ahead of Ten Kate Honda's Chris Vermeulen at the tenth round of World Superbikes from Imola, Italy. Chris Vermeulen led for most of the race ahead of Laconi, Renegade's Noriyuki Haga and Laconi's team-mate James Toseland.

Noriyuki Haga managed to steal first place from Regis Laconi on the final lap after a mighty battle in World Superbike race one at Brands Hatch today.

Noriyuki Haga has won the second race of the day at Brands Hatch World Superbikes... Even though Pierfrancesco Chili led him over the line, Haga having won on aggregate time.

Vermeulen beats Haga for first WSBK victory.
Having lost race one by just 0.15secs after being mugged by Noriyuki Haga in the final turn, WSBK rookie Chris Vermeulen took revenge in race two at Silverstone by matching all Nitro Nori's moves in an even closer encounter.

Chambon wins controversial Oschersleben WSS race.
Suzuki Alstare Corona Extra rider Stephane Chambon has won the World Supersport race at Oschersleben, after the original race winner, Karl Muggeridge was excluded.
Laconi takes Monza double.
It was a perfect day today for new World Superbike Championship leader, Regis Laconi, who took victory in the second race of the day to add to his points tally from the day's first WSBK race win.

Laconi takes race one as Chili gets double blow.
Italian Frankie Chili suffered a double blow at Monza today. Not only did his race bike have an engine blow in the warm-up lap, his spare bike's engine then did the same in the race. Regis Laconi was left to take an easy race win...

It was another day of high drama at Misano as wet weather interrupted proceedings once again, and produced wins apiece for Regis Laconi and Pierfrancesco Chili.
