January 2026 Jerez WorldSBK Test: Day 2 (Thursday) Results

Lap times from the January 2026 Jerez WorldSBK test at the Circuito de Jerez-Angel Nieto on 22 January at 17:00.

Nicolo Bulega topped the times on the second day of the test and of the two days overall, the Italian one of six riders to lap in the 1:39s.

Alex Lowes, Xavi Vierge, Sam Lowes, Michael van der Mark and Iker Lecuona were the other riders to take advantage of a drying track surface in Jerez to dip below the 1:40 barrier, although even Bulega's top time of a 1:39.331 was almost three seconds off his pole position time from last October so conditions were clearly still far from perfect.

Axel Bassani and Andrea Locatelli were seventh and eighth respectively, and the top-10 was rounded out by Stefano Manzi and an unnamed HRC test rider whose registered number was 65. We know from imagery from the circuit that Jonathan Rea was lapping on Thursday, so safe to assume that the #65 bike was his.

There were multiple crashes throughout the day, including for Lecuona, Danilo Petrucci, and Yari Montella.
