BSS: McConnell given suspended sentence.
Due to that incident, the following action has been taken - as stated in a Judicial Bulletin issued by Race Control...
"Following the Maxxis British Supersport Championship race at Mondello Park on June 17th the Race Director has investigated the incident involving No. 4 Billy McConnell and No. 2 Michael Laverty.
"Following interviews with both riders and considering the reports of the marshals and the TV broadcast evidence available the Race Director has determined that No. 4 Billy McConnell breached the regulations:

"Article B1.6 Reckless or dangerous riding during in the course of a meeting.
"Accordingly the following penalty has been imposed:
"Exclusion from three events - suspended for the period 29th June to 14th October 2007.
"The rights of appeal were advised and none were lodged. The decision is therefore confirmed."
