BSS: Lowes leads fog bound session.
A lot of the usual suspects didn't take to the Indy track as conditions were far from ideal. Leading the early session when the chequered flag came out was Sam Lowes of Double Vision Racing despite a tumble at Druids with only 6mins of free practice left to run.

Steve Brogan on the Bike Animal Honda took second place although he did lead the mid part of the session. Brogan is replacing Ian Hutchinson who has stepped up to Superbike to replace the injured Leon Camier.
Jack Kennedy of TAG Racing was a surprise front runner in third place. The Irish Supersport Cup contender held a top ten position for the bulk of the session.
Hard riding Jamie Robinson on the Margal/Bykerbabe Honda was in fourth jumping up the time sheets mid way through. Padgetts Honda rider, John McGuinness left it until the last minutes to claim a top ten, grabbing fifth place as the chequered flag came out.
The new Supersport Cup Champion, James Westmoreland on the Centurion Honda was in sixth just behind the TT Legend. Trucklinks Racing's Joe Dickinson was in seventh ahead of the new British 125GP Champion Luke Jones. Jones has been given a one off ride with the Centurion Honda team and he was in an impressive eighth place first time out on the 600.
James Webb who is replacing the injured Stuart Easton on the Isilon MSS Discovery Kawasaki was in ninth and Conor O'Brien on the Arkwood Honda completed the top ten.
Usual front runners Dennis Hobbs and Ian Lowry did take to the track but were further down the field than due to the tricky weather conditions.
