BSS: Lowry on top at Brands.
With improved weather conditions the lap times picked up with Lowry taking the lead from Joe Dickinson mid way through the session. The Trucklinks Honda rider took the lead from the outset but had to surrender it to Lowry with 16mins to go.
TT legend, John McGuinness was getting into his stride on his Padgetts Honda and taking up third place, while his team-mate Dennis Hobbs was in ninth. Hobbs has already sorted out his plans for next year and has signed with the Centurion Honda team.

Jamie Robinson remained in fourth place on his Margal/Bykerbabe Honda just ahead of newly crowned Supersport Champion, Michael Laverty.
Steve Brogan who is racing in Supersport and Superstock this weekend, was in sixth place on the Bike Animal Honda. The first of the Virgin Media Optoma Loans Yamahas home was that of Tom Grant in seventh place while his team-mate Billy McConnell was outside the top ten in eleventh place.
The Supersport Cup Champion James Westmoreland took eighth place. Completing the top ten was Aaron Walker on TJW Racing machine. Walker was a surprise front runner at Donington Park last time out and could be a threat again.
