"Franck is doing the 24 Hours of Le Mans. I talked to him today - let's see what happens, we will see, I want to talk with Franck. He is really concentrating now on doing the best possible in the race in France.

"I don't know, if it is possible but it is not a problem at all, and especially [as it is] Jordan. Alex [Shnaider] is a good friend, [Colin] Kolles is a good friend, but it depends on the driver, what he wants to do."

Jordan/Midland team principal, Colin Kolles meanwhile added that the Silverstone based squad were more than pleased with Montagny when he drove the third EJ15, during practice at the Nurburgring last month, something that could pave the way for him to return to the fold again next month.
